Wind energy companies are growing rapidly – both in the Midwest and nationwide- keeping pace with America’s demand for clean, renewable energy.
Here at CEP, we are often get the question: How can I get a job in the wind industry?
- The American Wind Energy Association’s new resource, CareersInWind.com hosts a job search engine and resume posting option for wind energy job seekers.
- Here in Kansas, the Dept. of Commerce and partner organizations have built a resource for Kansas manufacturers interested in re-tooling for the wind industry. Their wind industry overview page provides information about the state of Kansas wind development, and how Kansas companies can get in on the game.
- Cloud County Community College (CCCC) is the only college in Kansas approved to offer an Associate of Applied Science degree in Wind Energy Technology.
